The most common causes of hidden water leaks are corrosion in older copper pipes, root intrusion in underground lines, joint failures from ground movement, and faulty waterproofing around wet areas. A water leak detection specialist uses acoustic sensors, pressure testing, and thermal imaging to isolate the leak's location regardless of where the pipe runs.

Most of our leak detection work is non-invasive. In some commercial and domestic situations, we may need to drill into floors or driveways, or dig a small access hole after we have narrowed down the leak location. We only do this with permission.
